Digging for Dinosaurs

Service Description
Participants Ages 5-9 Time: 1:00-2:00 Instructor: Jen Capone In this fun, hands-on class we will travel back in time to learn all about our favorite dinosaur friends! Through play, observation, and discovery, students will explore what the world was like when dinosaurs roamed the Earth and how our planet has changed since then. Using the scientific method and sensory-based activities, young paleontologists will dig into fossils, habitats, and prehistoric science in a creative engaging way. **** Please remember that this class is not eligible for drop off participation. Parents should be present and able to help their child successfully participate. If you are not able to be present, please make arrangements will our staff or another responsible party by contacting berkshomeschoolroots@gmail.com before registering. *** In addition, we are looking for committed parents or guardians who would like to assist this class as an assistant teacher. If you would like to volunteer for this role (and receive discounted tuition for the class for your child) please contact the team at berkshomeschoolroots@gmail.com prior to registering. Reading Level Required - None Activity Level - This class offers hands on activities as well as physical activities and is a good fit for students who require movement. Students will need to be able to stay with their class group and respect the space of others throughout the class.
