Service Description
Participants Ages 11+ Time: 1:30-2:30 Instructor: Maria Zarate-Smith Learn the authentic art of dreamcatcher making. This class is rooted in the traditions of the Ojibwe (Anishinaabe) people, where the dreamcatcher was first created. We'll start by discussing its cultural significance and purpose. Then, they’ll get hands-on experience weaving the web and adorning your creation with feathers and beads, just as they have been for generations. All supplies are provided to help you craft a beautiful and meaningful piece of history.
