I Survived! Extreme Moments In History

Service Description
For Participants Ages 9-12 Time: 11:00-12:00 Instructor: Jen Capone What would you do if you were there? In this middle school class inspired by the popular I Survived books, students will explore some of the most dramatic and surprising moments in history. Each week we will dive into a different real-life disaster or historical event that tested human courage, survival, and problem-solving. Through stories, discussions, and activities, students will investigate events such as the Sinking of the Titanic, the Great Molasses Flood, and the Jersey Shore shark attacks of 1916. Students will learn what happened, why it happened, and how people responded in the moment. Each adventure asks the big question: Could you have survived?
